That sounds like a great idea, Justin. I have tax season coming up which will sideline me until April. But after that we should look for a show. I’m also planning on going to Suburbs Fest in Grand Rapids. Whatever way we will make it happen.
Great list, Justin! A nice mix of favorites and things I need to follow up on. Good to see Extra Arms make your list. Inflatable Boys was one of my favorite songs of the year. Finally "got" MJ Lenderman after half a dozen tries. Sometimes things work out that way. Well done!
Thanks, Paul. "Inflatable Boys" definitely gets stuck in my head after listening to Radar. It was great meeting you at Suburbs Fest this year - we'll have to figure out a show we can see or just get together and talk music in 2025.
Since "Yield," IMO. I really liked parts of Lightning Bolt, and there are some all-timers on the other LPs, but this is the most well-rounded release in awhile...
Trying to budget time for both exploring new music and revisiting old - ranging from favorites to things I largely overlooked - remains one of my life-rounding goals. Setting up the time to write about these things, books, comics, etc., are also among my aims.

Glad to hear you're planning on Suburbs Fest. Outside of that, we'll figure something out.

"16. Pearl Jam/Dark Matter - Best album since…?"

Perfect summation of Moon Mirror as well!
P.S. Nice to see Royal Scene getting some love!
I probably go one album further than you (Binaural), but we're in the same neighborhood. Thanks for reading and for your support!
Rock!

I would like to expand to writing about more than just music too. Good luck to us both!
